The house is a mess, it's time for some cleanin'.
The last of the gifts I'm still a'needin,
The cupboard is bare, to the store I must go.
Thank God the forecast calls for no snow.

And then it's a week filled with family and friends,
Good food, good cheer, and a whirlwind sans end.
The energy it takes to add to this space
Believe me, it doesn't exist in this place.

So 'till after the New Year, I'm off on a break.
Get me more caffeine - I must stay awake.
May your holiday be jolly and your new year sublime.
Don't worry -- I won't show up in prime time.

* Tucker Carlson is a jerk. But don't buy Media Matters for America's thinking, either... that's a cousin of Moveon.
* Prediction: If Paul Martin Jr is re-elected, the fence plans kick into high gear. And co-operation goes down.
