Catching up, part I

Been out of commission the past few days. So there's a lot to do.

First off, thanks to us, Dana Milbank appears at the Carnival of the Clueless, where he really belongs.

And a clash of visions will be at the Carnival of the Vanities all week, too.

Also, we'll be hosting the Carnival of Comedy in two weeks. Save yer best of teh funny for my turn, eh?

On the turntable now: fellow blogger Frank Trainor's Grace and Gravity effort. Advice: Check it out. It's good stuff. (More on my personal faves from this set later, as I regather my senses).

On the bookstand now: "I Heard You Paint Houses," the book about the fellow who admitted to killing legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa. Opinion: It's credible. Very credible.
